"Hope" the Whale

To the Natural History Museum this afternoon with Trish and her family. My brother in law, Adrian was the engineer in charge of suspending the whale. He designed the cables and brackets and oversaw the lifting. Also the calculations for the roof trusses and how the load should be distributed so as to accommodate the 4.7 ton weight. Made more complicated by the museum wanting the whale to be "diving'!
