Cousins

James set off early this morning to visit a friend in Brighton. It was a long drive but he arrived ok.

Me and the kiddies spent the day with my brother and his two. They arrived about 11 o’clock with a lovely bouquet of flowers for me. The children had fun with the play doh and we made pizzas for lunch which were yummy. Afterwards we were introduced to the David Walliams’ book adaptations on the BBC and watched Mr Stink. We all enjoyed it and can’t wait to watch the rest. Before it got dark we headed out into the village for a walk/ride/scoot and ended up at the skate park. The children had a good run around and burnt off some energy.

This evening, as I’ve had the TV to myself, I’ve caught up with call the midwife. I had to reach for the tissues!
