Royal Visit

We had the King and Queen of Puymule for lunch today. Hilary and Ian are the wonderful couple who bought our old house here in France. What started off as lunch with friends turned into a royal visit when Ian found the trinket in the Galette des Rois - a traditional French sponge dessert with a tiny figurine representing the baby Jesus hidden somewhere inside it. Everyone must be careful not to damage their teeth, but whoever finds the trinket gets to wear the golden crown that comes with it. Ian (my extra pic today) found the figurine and so became King Ian, making his wife Queen Hilary. But I thought it only fair to give the queen precedence in my blip.
