Like icing on a cake.....

....or at least that's what it looks like to me!  
Big "warm up" today with 18 degrees F (-7.7 C),  so not too bad being outside. I was prepared today with my heated vest, but I never turned it on as I was comfortable without doing that. Tom & I were downtown at the Lakefront strolling around & (me) taking pictures, when a red breasted merganser popped up right in front of me--it had apparently been diving for food--& I got a couple pictures of it before it went back under. I've put a few pictures into the extras again to use them up! :)
