Funny old day...

....to say the least.

Woke up to masses of snow, which greatly hampered our planned journey over the local moors to Whitchurch in Shrewsbury. Instead it took us an extra hour to go in the opposite direction to get to a motorway. the conditions were scary at times.

Finally, we arrived for my Uncle M’s 80th surprise meal. The Inn and food were both glorious.

Then my mum had a funny turn, which resulted in paramedics and a trip to A&E. Luckily, she seems to be ok, but was very worrying at points.

Hope tomorrow has less incidents in it than today....
