Christmas Craft

It was supposed to be 10cm of snow today but the met office lied. I cancelled a long standing meet up with Jemma because of the snow. What a disappointment. We instead did our usual routine of Costa and Wetherspoons. It was a chilled out day and the afternoon we made Christmas cards. I met a lady in Costa this morning who had recently lost her husband and had made an effort to go to Costa as she said it was their favourite place to go. She was obviously upset but the Costa staff were brilliant with her. It really meant a lot that they took the time to look after her. I asked if she needed any shopping but she said she was fine. I hope that she made it home ok.
