Presents from North Dakota

I was awake early so I was able to gently wake Bella for her journey back down south. Matt and jade left with her about 7.30, thankfully no snow but it was very slippy. They made great time and we're back in Knutsford eating breakfast at 10.30 ready for a midwife appointment.
I decided to have a lazy day. Put the washer on and sat and watched a Christmas film. I was still in pjs when the postman knocked at 10 and felt as if I'd been up for hours! He gave me a big box that was fully covered in sellotape. It was from my friend Dianne in North Dakota. She sent a present for Bella which she missed by 3 hours. There is a present for the baby and brag blocks to put by the baby when you photograph them to monitor their age. It seems they are used by US mums. A lovely mug as a momentous of my trip. I gave her a video call to thank her which was lovely. We think it's cold here they had it -22F now that's very cold, I have declined her invite to visit at this time of year!
More films and knitting this afternoon the furthest I've been is to the tumble drier in the garage.
