Beguinage Enclosure

On our last full day in Brugges we visited the Bequinage Enclosure a Unesco World Heritage Site.This peaceful enclosed courtyard of  whitewashed houses is now occupied by a community of Benedictine nuns and is a haven of quiet in the busy city.
