Patterns & textures
Well I'm back!
A lot has happened since my last blip. I'm single. I don't say that as some kinda attention-seeking plea for sympathy, I don't want that (I really really don't, so please hold those kinda comments back) I just say it because I've used blip as a diary to share details of my life with the world for two-and-a-half years, off and on, and that's the biggest thing that's happened (without a doubt) since my last blip. We're still living together as flatmates and friends, and in the main it's going very well. I like to hope that although I've lost a boyfriend I've gained a very good friend, so you can expect Mathew to feature in more future blips.
There are back blips to come, lots of them from our last holiday. It was a great time, and I'm looking forward to sharing images with you, even although they're not the best pics I've ever taken. I still have to get them all organised though, and do any necessary editing.
I can't decide if I like today's pic or not. I do seem to have a passion for textures and patterns, and think they work best in high-contrast b/w. I'm not so sure of the expression and tired look on my face though. Pushing the contrast to those extremes isn't wise for somebody who's paranoid about the shadows under his eyes. (This is why most of the SP's you see of me on here also feature my glasses!)
Today I tried a bit of retail therapy. The T-shirt I'm wearing is one of the things I bought. Pushing my boundaries a bit, as it's not something I'd normally go for. It's also a bit on the snug side, so that will be my motivation to get back to the gym and tone up. I've given up on fat club, but still have all the recipe books, so although i'm not going to the classes any more, tomorrow sees the start of me eating more sensibly again. I aim to fit into this t-shirt comfortably in 2 weeks, for a weekend away to visit Mathew's cousins. It's not *that* snug, I just need a little less wobble :-D
I also bought a leather jacket that I love, some twisted chino-style trousers, another t-shirt and some nice very bright boxers. Everybody needs pulling pants, right?
