Warm this winter

Some years ago we trekked with friends to Machu Picchu in Peru. What an amazing trip that was. We all bought warm woolly socks gloves Peruvian hats, beautifully knitted depicting llamas and other images, made by local ladies, and sold through markets and cooperatives very cheaply.
These loose fitting alpaca socks are the only thing that fits over my huge plastered leg at the moment. They will help keep my toes cosy this winter.
