Snow!

We were promised snow overnight, and we woke up to a blizzard this morning.
I went out at around 9a.m. for a wander and there was virtually no one around. I love the eery silence that descends during a fall of snow.
Even in the centre of town, the pavements were almost deserted (see extra).
It's now early afternoon as I type this and the snow has stopped and it's all melting.
