Silver Birch

The light was wonderful this morning so we went for a wander. The squirrels were working overtime, busy burying and then gently patting their hoards beneath the layer of leafy compost beneath the trees.

This afternoon was a different story - the rain clouds have scudded over and have now come to a halt above us.
