Holiday Fun : On yer bike

It's another very HOT day +27C.  We joined the crowds of people doing an early shop at the supermarket.  No spare car parks, so we parked across the road.  Have enough food to last a couple of days hopefully. 

Then I did a couple of walks, one down to the lake and back through the park, then the second one was to the park and back.  So pleased the 8,000 steps completed. 

I took this photo down by the lake, the flowers in the foreground are called 'vipers bugloss', they also grow in Europe and Asia.  They are a prickly weed here.

I got a couple of jobs done this morning, including defrosting the deep freeze.  Now I know just what is in the freezer.

There is some rain in the forecast, that should cool the temperature down.  We'll just have to wait and see.
