Growth

The prepared Hyacinths I planted in September are developing fast.  This is the same plant I pictured one month and one day ago.  Not long to go now.  The timing has worked out well as I planted them mostly to give as Christmas gifts.  This one is for us to enjoy :-)

Another lovely post-Christmas day.  Some family time and a good friend dropped in for coffee and a chat.  The Turkey had it's last outing bar the odd sandwich tomorrow and tonight the Christmas cake was iced.   Thanks Jamie :-)  In our house I reckon we should call them 'New  Year' Cakes - we rarely start eating them before January.  This year might be different.
