Cold as ice! Abstract Thursday 131 New beginnings

I'm never sure whether ice is about to become water or water to become ice. The paradox is which is having the new beginning? More philosophy Friday thoughts tomorrow lol!
This is the ice formed on the netting over my pond. I thought it made a perfect Abstract Thursday blip, thanks to Ingeborg for hosting. I loved the richness of the colour and the water below.
The extra shows it in situ. The apparent stalagmite is actually a "tite" and snapped off one of the leaves hanging over the pond.
