A good day

It's been a lovely day outside, not that I spent much time outside, the pavements are quite icy where the sun hasn't caught it, it's a bit to soon after surgery to risk a slip and fall.
Pleased with my progress though, I was thinking I would only be getting out of hospital now, yet it's been three weeks today since I was discharged and just over five weeks since the operation which so far has exceeded my expectations. A lot of healing to do yet and for the first time in nearly five years I'm starting to look forward again.
