Apple picked, cherries not.

Clouds like this make me feel better about the rain. Here comes another front, and I'm glad that a) the apples are picked
b) most of the paintwork had a few hours to dry this time before the inevitable.

For the first time in 20 years I have managed to paint the majority of the upstairs and downstairs woodwork together in one major effort. Some parts still evade me however, and a cherry-picker might be the answer. They look like a lot of fun!

Our home-grown basil pesto with linguini went a long way towards replenishing the energy left on the ladder rungs.

There is talk of the Cat's Back walk tomorrow. We'll see.
