Historic day!

I didnt get to watch the Inauguration itself live - we had recorded it and watched it in the evening - but I got back in time to watch the cavalcade and their walkabout - I'm sure the body guards were glad when that bit was over! It was an amazing sight - the vast crowds of waving cheering people the whole length of the Mall. Tomorrow it'll be down to business and we'll find out if he and his administration can live up to all the rhetoric. I just hope people give him a chance - he's certainly inheriting some huge challenges. I can't understand why anyone would want that job!
