Bob-bob-bobbin' Along

To M & K's place in Ancrum today. We had a buffet lunch, made up of lots of the goodies we've not got round to yet - why do we always buy so much food at Christmas.  At least we've made a bit of a dent in it.  Everyone will be gone in a couple of days, so we need to see it off by then.

Afterwards we took the children to the play park. There is still a bit of frozen snow around, and a fresh fall is forecast for tomorrow.

But today the sun shone in a clear blue sky and this robin sat in a branch above us and enjoyed the rays.  It somehow looks different from our garden robins - I wonder if it could be a winter migrant from Scandinavia.
