Meditation

We walked along the beach today, which was poignantly strewn with items washed down from the flooded burns of villages all around. Toys, wheelie bins, flowerpots, bicycles, even a set of very soggy cane patio chairs all lying on the beach.

We also saw two fire crews, still pumping gallons and gallons of water out of flooded homes, 24 hours after the floods receded. Other roads are still impassable.

Glad to get home and get indoors and remind ourselves of the blessings of a warm, dry home and a meditative dog.
