What now?

I would have loved a walk today but the travel nurse is supposed to be ringing about the injections we need for our forthcoming holiday. 

I think this is Bow trying to tell me she needs food.  She and the other squirrels are acting like bandits keeping the ground feeding birds away from the seed.  I need to think of a way of outwitting them.  Does anyone have a blunderbuss or canon I can borrow?
