Nice day today. Gentle achievement of tasks.

House cleaned - not sparkling but good enough that I wouldn't be shame faced if someone dropped by unexpectedly. Clothes washed, book finished, Andy Murray watched into another final.

Even did my recycling. The council has handily put a bank at the top of the street. Clinked my way up there, muttering "must recycle more often" and "Gosh I'm eating too much jam these days" loudly for the neighbours benefit.

Wandered round the park, looking for a blip and pretending I was in New York.

Perhaps to the cinema later.
