Tiny Tuesday .....

... Tiny Elf. 

I am quite sure that I have posted this tiny elf in year's past ... but it's the only thing I took pictures of today!

I did actually experiment with a new tiny glass crystal ball that I bought Richard for Christmas .... but I wasn't crazy about those pictures!  The elf just didn't look right reflected in the ball. 

Then I did some straight shots of him ... much better.  I have added a slight painterly effect to the picture for added interest. 

I will continue to experiment with the crystal ball .... maybe a different subject matter would be better.  I think these balls work better with a landscape setting. 

I know that this isn't technically a macro .... but it is still a tiny object.  I have had this tiny elf for as long as I can remember.  And I am well into my 50's! Ooops!  A woman should never reveal her age!
