Did Santa Get Swamped?

No, because he wasn't on the cake in the first place. 

As usual, I'd made FAR too much icing. It flowed over the cake and formed avalanches on the kitchen table. Humph.

I couldn't find the cake decorations because I'd forgotten where I'd put them in January. Discovered them today (the next day), when I was feeling quite a bit better.

Felt even more rough on Boxing Day than on Christmas Day and retreated to bed for the duration. Slept again, then installed Netflix on my tablet and watched two films.

I surely needed the rest. Left Len and Basil to their own devices.
