Happiness is...

...new rollerblades for Christmas!
We had a message from our landlady last night saying we could see our new flat today. We were shocked by how much work there is left to do on it...the only room that doesn't need any repairs is the lounge...there are holes in 4 of the ceilings...a broken boiler (as well as here in our current flat)...rubble & debris everywhere...no beds...and a really stressed and overwhelmed landlady. So we'll not be moving in anytime too soon... But it reminded us how much we love the flat & what a great space it is...& it's helped us realise why there's a delay. She's not a great communicator, so hadn't kept us in the loop...so we couldn't understand the delay.
Anyway, after that we went for brunch to cheer ourselves up...Asha had her rollerblades with her, so she had a lot of fun & did alot of falling over/grabbing on to lamp posts!

We had 24-7 friends & their 3 kids over this afternoon, then out to Caña Club...different day different location. Up at James & Rich's place - open fire, tapas, relaxation...wonderful.

Drama of the day:
Realising HOW much work there is to do on the new flat.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny taking Nate to the docs...there's no infection in his chest & he's got some medecine to shift the catarrh.
2) How much fun Asha had on her rollerblades - so much laughing.
3) A stunning sunset on the way up to James & Rich's...just glorious!
