Who took the Merry out of Christmas?

It was back to the gym this morning, after a week off, which is a long time for me. Afterwards I walked into town, as I needed a few things. I saw this wonderful Merrythought teddy, in a charity shop window, and they wanted £149 99. for him. These bears are all hand made,  but I wonder who gave him away? I was tempted, but I already have  way too many. I do hope he goes to a good home, but it won't be mine.
