John Forrest National Park
Had a wee drive over to John Forrest National Park for a picnic and a walk. The Park was the first National Park in Western Australia and second in Australia.
Some stunning views and really nice walks available. We opted for a shorter one (in comparison to the 5 hours ones available). This section was one of the few with water but during wetter times there are a couple of big waterfalls. We are going to go back when the water is flowing.
On the way back I couldn’t help but drive through nearby Darlington. I grew up in Darlington, NE England so it had to be done! Found the old train station which is no longer used and got a snap by the sign to send home to the family!
