Cathedral Close

This rather impressive door is located in Exeter's Cathedral Green. Simon and I joked about hobbits knocking and a wizened old man saying "it's my job to ask questions after nightfall".

Exeter city centre was crazily busy today because the new John Lewis has opened. People were queuing in the rain to get a look inside. I was not interested in queuing but I did want to go up to the top floor for a photograph - maybe another day!
