Hanging on in there - more pink

I ventured back to Piggotts Bottom today. I went in search of interesting funghi but, although there were a few bits and pieces, nothing came close to this solitary flower, hanging on in there in spite of it being October. More pink - and dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It was very deserted and the ferns were high. In places you couldn't see where the paths would be.... but there is still a magic about it.

Thank you so much for the hearts and comments yesterday on my Dragonflly. I was so lucky to catch this unusual one resting for a moment.
