Dive, dive, dive,

D for Dive for the December wide angle challenge. This is my wintery scene too bobs blips. You might not think it looks wintery but compared to the temperatures we have been having today was quite chilly. I had to put a jacket on first thing. I think there is snow further south. We had another 7mm rain overnight. It all helps.
Can you see a pied stilt chick in this photo and my extra? No, I couldn't see it either but there must be at least two, as two sets of parents were squawking and dive bombing- one each end of the pathway.
The rushes have got so thick you could hide an elephant in there.
