South Black Hill

After Christmas Day’s dreich weather, Boxing Day was a complete contrast with clear skies, frost and overnight snow. We went to Nine Mile Burn and walked up Monk’s Rigg before going over the Kips to Scald Law and then down to east of Silverburn. R went running from Nine Mile Burn and picked us up; very satisfactory. The Blip is South Black Hill from the upper slopes of Scald Law with quite a lot of mist in the glen to the south.
