Out and about
Unexpectedly free on Boxing Day due to Mr DA’s mother having a cold we headed out early to walk the dogs and then spent the morning at the Weald and Downland museum. The forecast was for a chilly but sunny morning with heavy rain in the afternoon and therefore a lot of people had the same idea to visit before lunch.
Pictured is the reconstruction of an Anglo Saxon hall house, a new addition since we were last there which I was interested to see. I was also interested to try the Tudor ale (very nice) and some plum pottage (like cold, soggy Christmas pud).
MrDA has time off for good behaviour this afternoon so he’s gone to watch some football with Son2. Rather them than me if the forecast is right!
