Looking at things differently

Tuesday, I ran Sugar to a town between my parent's and us to deliver her to my mom and dad.  Sugar doesn't need to spend her Winter Vacation moping at home.  She was feeling quite a bit better, too.  I went to work, and felt pretty much fine all day.  The Hubby still had a fever when I got home.  
I have not actually played with my new camera.  I feel like I haven't even tried to get a decent shot with it.  Instead...I keep testing it in nearly dark situations in my house.  This was in a dark kitchen.  I had to up grade my Photoshop Elements, and between the new camera and the new software, I am lost.  The white balance is so off....and I just haven't found the energy to care, yet......here's hoping.....
