Being shadowed

When being shadowed, you hope for a smooth day without mishap or misadventure, where you can show off your skills and knowledge, and maybe even your ability to cope with unexpected questions or challenges and continue forth.

I was being shadowed today.

None of this happened.

Well, apart from the having to deal with unexpected challenges part...there was a lot of that.
