Merry Christmas

The weather forecast said no rain.
I dressed accordingly for my 10-mile cycle into work.
It rained for the entire ride.
I arrived soaked.
I had a Tesco Meal Deal for Christmas lunch. 

But! work was fine. It stayed dry on the 10-mile journey home. The West End was full of Christmas lights prettiness. I've spent time (the power of the internet) with K, opening gifts and cards. 
It's been a fine Christmas considering I worked. 
Thanks to all those who do work on Christmas Day be it in emergency services, hospitality, or restaurants.
