Dinosaur pasta!

We have just had a fantastic 10 days with our lovely friends Chris and Leona and their three kids! We spent every day either at a park, the beach or in the pool! Usually a combination!

The house feels empty now that they have gone though! Kaz is in Melbourne this weekend so there is just Spence, Joti and me!

We spent the day in our pool, doing washing, going to the shops then over to our friends house for a swim and a play with their kids!

I am loving the weather and lifestyle up here! It is warm every day and we are spending more and more time in the pool and at the beach!!

Joti is going well although has her first bout of sickness. She started with a temperature for four days, and now a rash and cough. The poor little thing. She is happy when she is awake though, just sleeping a bit more than usual and has a little cough. Hopefully she will be all better in a couple of days.

I have an operation on my parathyroid in my neck on Tuesday to remove one of them. This will hopefully get my calcium levels back to normal and stop kidney stones forming.

I had a radioactive test last Wednesday to find which one wasn't working properly and it meant that I couldn't be near any of the kids for 6 hours afterwards or breast feed Joti for 12 hours after. It would have ok if she hadn't been sick and just wanted me! She wouldn't take the bottle of my hard earned expressed milk and I couldn't even cuddle her! She was fine after the 12 hours was up though!

I have to stay overnight after the operation on Tuesday and Joti can stay with me but needs a carer who isn't me so Kaz will stay as well! Spence is going to have a sleep over at one of his friends from Kinder, abi's house.
