First Rose

First, the good: this rose, and a fantastic run this morning - my first trail run for about a month and a half.

Heres the rose biggerer.

The bad: today is my Worst. Apple. Day. Ever. I decided that because I can't remember my restrictions password, (and therefore can't ensure I have Game Centre turned off, or see if turning on Siri gets the voice directions in Maps working) and Apple make it completely impossible to recover or bypass said password, I would restore my iPhone as a new device.

Fail.

It does its thing, all is looking ok ... Except a heap of apps simply won't install from iTunes to the iPhone. After much cursing and swearing, interspersed with attempts to calm myself, because I will get it sorted at some point, I decided to try again. This time it did more configuring stuff on the phone before starting to install apps, so I was kind of hopeful.

But no.

More faily mcfaily fail.

I've got to the point I want to just restore it from a previous backup, and live wi it as it was. Then I realised that because I gave it the same name as it had before, it might have written a backup of its buggered new device state over the top of the old one. So that'd be awesome. I'll go and find out soon.
