Christmas Dinner at Akersten Bay

That’s in The Able Tasman National Park, 17km of walking there and bark (mini) and even I was tired.
The Dinner was special with Special NZ yeast buns pre chilled and filled with special hand matured selected NZ cheese and Hi Class clover honey and apricot preserve with a amazing desert of pineapple infused marshmallow hot dipped in chocolate and individually presented.

This translates to supermarket buns with honey and apricot jam and pineapple lumps for desert …. Oh and a Lyndt Choc teddy bear each.

The B’s are really keen on healthy eating for Christmas dinner especially when you have to carry it 9 Km in a pak.
Oh and I almost forgot there was dark brown champagne served in formed glass drinking containers……Coke Z drunk from the bottle.

This walking track is probably NZ’s best adventure and the photographic opportunities are boundless but tonights feature is a Leaf that The Bosssess spotted but needed The Boss’s more flexible spine to capture it as required. The extras show that action and others with a general view out to sea for your interest. Yea for iPhones…..
