2017 Friday -- Space X
Late in the afternoon we took the three pups for a walk on the sand at the north end of town near the pier. They really don't care that Christmas is two days away; they just want to get on the sand.
Then a. It later, we weren't quite through watching the sunset show when the SpaceX rocket made its appearance.
From Google: "People along the West Coast looked toward the heavens to find a strange, morphing orb glowing in the night sky. It looked like the stuff of science fiction, but it was actually the mark of a SpaceX rocket hauling a group of telecom satellites into Earth's orbit. The rocket took off from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in central California, and kicked up a flurry of wonder from social media users from across the state."
From the coast of Central California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
