Magic

I was watching some little birds foraging in the grass beside the trail and being charmed by the chickadees that helped themselves to seeds right out of my hand, not to mention the chickadee that landed on the end of my camera lens and solemnly stared at me. Then suddenly I was distracted by the sound of footsteps behind me, and this is what I saw: a doe and her two fawns, not four feet away. Aren't they amazing? Altogether, it was an amazing day in the park and a very magical experience.
