Cat loves Dog

Who said that dogs don't love cats! Katie grew up with Jessie who was our beloved Golden Retriever we got them both from the dog pound in Japan. 19 1/2 years later we still have Katie and she was so hard broken when Jessie passed she would just cry and cry looking for affection, wanting to lay against anyone willing to have her. Five years ago we got Quincy our Bouvier out of the pound in Belgium. He was 9 months and a handful, we lived in Germany and it was in the middle of winter when We got him ( what were we thinking....) house training him was a beast . Often we thought about taken him back because he was a very hyper pup very hard to handle - however, we were committed! Lots of walks in the snow and ice, and some training paid off! I have had many dogs and I can honestly say it took about 4 months before I bonded with him - one day it just clicked! To get back with Katie's story, recently Quincy has slowed down since his leg surgery and Katie finally can lay with him ..... And we are so happy for her!
