Christmas Eve

Wishing you a roaring good Christmas from Richmond New Zealand.
I have no idea why this house has stone lions guarding its driveway entrance.  I must have seen them before but today I noticed them wearing their Santa hats.
This morning daughter and I negotiated the supermarket for the last little bits.  All was calm and people cheerful.  The pavlova is made, the trifle is made and stuffing for the turkey made. 
This afternoon we went to Tahuna beach where it was very windy so only one of us swam and the two delicate flowers paddled.
