Guide My Path

All the hands on deck of the ship will know when they see the beam of the lighthouse that they will soon be guided to shore. This is a comfort well deserved after a long tiresome voyage and all the sailors will be offered rest, safety, and the trust of solid ground.

In our lives we look for our lighthouses too. Those people in our lives that we can depend on to give us strength in our times of insecurities. Those we look forward to embracing into the safety of their arms. Those that keep us grounded when we feel out of place and lost.

Blessed are those who have become our lighthouse, for they will always gain our trust. And when we become the lighthouse for others, we will learn the beauty of giving love.
