The Day....

My camera very nearly went for a swim! Mum and I went a trip to Yesnaby (I'll make my next blip a sea view from Yesnaby) when we had a lovely day of sunshine and a temperature near 20 degrees! It can be very windy here even if everywhere else is calm, so being from Orkney where we're really not bothered about a "breeze", Mum and I were in strappy tops and jeans rolled up to our knees. We knew when tourists were around as they had waterproof coats, wooly hats and scarfs on! Needless to say we got a few amused looks, but we had a good day and plenty of photos were taken. For this one I ventured over slippy rocks and tiny streams, I think it was worth it and I'm glad I did (I have sciatica so it was no easy feat! But I can be stubborn).
