He's on the cushions!

We had an early start as my eldest son and daughter in law left for the airport, then a few hours bed making and cleaning left us ready for the next family guests arriving this evening. in the event they were over four hours late due to accidents and traffic on the motorway between Paris and here, but got here in the end.
Dad is being brave but is in pain whenever he moves, he's promised to be more careful, and I hope all the people here will be a distraction.
