Settled

We drove all the way to Norfolk, watching the progress of our goose on the tracking website as we travelled. All was great, we were the 25th delivery, but after the 24th delivery it all went a bit quiet, and no goose ever arrived.....

Fortunately, the farm has another one, which we are going to pick up tomorrow morning, with a turkey crown for good measure. Meanwhile, we are happily ensconced in our holiday cottage, it is warm and spacious and the children have set about eating all the snacks while the adults are working on the booze.
