Christmas tree!

Christmas has, at last come to our house, it nearly didn't.  

It's been playing on my mind for the last week that I really ought to get our Christmas tree sorted, and I'd been meaning to do it as a surprise for the husband who has a major dislike of anything to do with getting or decorating a Christmas tree.  I went out yesterday to try and get a tree, but our local farm had run out, I had a bit of a sinking feeling about this news....  The husband headed out this morning with the eldest on a mission to find a tree - believing it couldn't be that hard.  Two hours later and four or five shops, I was getting on the phone to see where still had tree's. One place I called had closed for the season, another helpfully told me they had been selling trees since the 25th November... further questions revealed they only had 8ft tree's left... Eventually I found somewhere, and, we now have a tree.  I decorated it whilst the boys were sleeping and they were suitably impressed when they woke up. 

Family walk this afternoon - including the cat, we must look a right sight as we walk along.
