Christmas Cake

A surprisingly traffic free drive to have lunch with the outlaws then tea at my Mum’s.

After peaking last year, here is my entry to Jazzy B’s blippishchristmasbakeoff. Cake made by my mum, decorated by my mum, artfully placed under the retro 4ft (not 3ft or 5ft) fibre optic tree by my mum and not particularly well photographed by ME!!

During the drive I listened to an ‘article‘ on radio 4 about adults regressing to childhood when they return home for Christmas. I feel I may have regressed reading my last paragraph back!

ETA Mum has just pointed out that her marvellous tree is dominating the blip so has asked me to take another picture of just her beautiful cake. As I’ve always been a good girl, I have immediately done what she said and her cake on its own in all its glory is in the extras!
