A good Idea?

Time to buy the special stuff - the stuff which we don't eat at any other time but the season gives us the excuse.  And, to be fair, it is not as if supermarkets stock up with special stuff at any other time of the year.  So M&S this morning for the special stuff.
And they opened early so it would be a good idea for us to arrive early, do the deed and then get on with the rest of our lives.  Lots and lots of other people decided the same.  And 7am is not a good time to make decisions about Xmas fare.  It was a store full of people in that space between 'that looks good' and 'that looks better', between 'that is cheap' and 'that looks tasty', between turkey and chicken, between guinea fowl and poussin, between lobster and prawns..... A store almost paralysed by choice.
But we survived and the sunrise was colourful.
