Thought this was a good idea to start with.

It is a bird feeder and you fill it with seeds and the birds come and perch and feed on the seeds inside the cup.
I was really happy with it and with watching the birds, until the first rain fell and then I spotted the flaw in the design.
The seeds became soggy, the birds weren't sure what to do and eventually left it alone.
Maybe if I had somewhere sheltered to hang it it would have more success.
When the ground isn't so wet I'll go and try moving it somewhere else.

Had a quiet day with a visitor calling on me for a chat and we managed to have a laugh. Then I settled down to watch the end of 'Mildred Pierce'.
